sick of misleading ebay titles?

maybe i'm too sensitive, but a big pet-peeve of mine is people who put useless words in their title just to get more hits and notice, such as.......

1966 1967 fairlane comet galaxie falcon 500 GT

i know they're trying to sell the damn thing, but i don't want to waste my time either sifting through dozens of extra threads because some guy has a galaxie for sale and wants to get the fairlane peoples' attention too. is there a way to turn these people in? would ebay do anything anyways? it irritates me so bad i'd actually take 30 minutes a day just reporting these auctions, i'd actually enjoy it.

It really ticks me off. You'll see one that says "66 67 68 69 70 fairlane falcon torino mustang galaxie" and they won't even get the part in the title, or "66 67 fairlane galaxie (part)" and in the auction they'll say "Came off of 66 Galaxie, might fit Fairlane, I don't know" talking about a headlight bucket or grille, or my favorite, "66 67 Mustang NOT Fairlane Galaxie Falcon"

Grr. And a half.

yeah, the "NOT" stuff is what pisses me off the most. don't tell me what it's "NOT", tell me what it is. Confused

What I hate is the jerks that don't know what they got. I saw a 66 Galaxie listed as a 66 Fairlane! Also saw 67 Fairlane power domes listed as 66 GT louvers! Or how about a starter solenoid or a tie rod end that they claim is for a 66 Fairlane GT! Yeah a 66GT and about 30 other models!

How about the rear doors for a Thunderbolt! I don't think so!

Now i haven't done this...but the best thing is when you try the same tactics and eBay deletes the listing. Smile
