1964 Ford Fairlane 500 Custom Ranch Wagon 17" Bullitt w

Hello all, I recently purchased this 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 Custom Ranch Wagon from the estate of the original owner. The car came factory equipped with a 289, P/S, P/B, and A/C. The owner had the engine rebuilt in 1991 and then passed away about 3 months later (according to the family). This car has been sitting in a garage untouched since then. I changed all of the fluids and hooked up a fuel cell and an electric fuel pump and the car fired right up!!! The car is still wearing its factory black paint from 1964 and has absolutey no rust even in the usual places (tailgate, quarters, passenger frame rail etc..) I recently put a set of 17" Bullitt Mustang wheels on it and think they look great. With a family of 5, I think it is going to make a great cruiser! The site looks great and I look forward to talking to you all!

Fairlane wagon

Hi.. great car!.. I have found myself a rust free 63 ranch Wagon, 221 manual 3 speed with the factory overdrive. Mine is looking about the same as far as ageing.. it has a problem though, one of the hinges on the tailgate is broken and I am having trouble finding a replacement.. any spares??. or do you know of another wagon in your area that is parting out?.
Enjoy your wagon!
I have been a member of the FCOA (Fairlane Club of America) for about 5 years now and I have found the club priceless when looking for information, practical knowledge and parts..
I am also looking for a good spare wheel cover, I believe the 64 and 65's are exactly the same...

Cheers

17"s YES!

Nice wagon man, wheels sure change the look of a car don;t they?
What size are those 17's, meaning backspace, offset?
do they rub anywhere?
