9 inch into a 64 Fairlane

I have the 8n inch in my 64. I am building the 289 for more power now. I would like to add a 9 inch rear. I have several early Bronco 9 inch rears sitting around. Are the widths closse enough to use or will they need to be shortened? I know the perches will need to be relocated but with the free cost of the rear that makes modifying it the only obstacle. Anyone done it before? Thanks

Measure the Bronco rearends from flange to flange, if they are close you can offset the wheels to work.
