I don't see how you're going to drive the old bushing out with the tailshaft attached. It's not a hard job removing the tailshaft and there are no tricks or surprises to it. Just some bolts and a gasket. And if you don't have the proper bushing driver, take the tailshaft to a machine shop and have them do it. Otherwise, you'll probably fudge up the bushing and you'll be doing it again.
