I would get a world class or even a G force T5 but I dont think they will hold up to the Fe if you plan on beating on it . _________________ 1966 Gt , Tahoe Turquoise , 35143 miles

The lowest performance 390 is rated at over 400 lb/ft of torque. I think the highest performance T5 is rated for around 300 lb/ft of torque. The math just doesn't bode well for this one. Not that it can't be done -it has been- but one torque overload and BOOM!
You might want to visit Keisler, http://www.keislerauto.com/vmchk/ford/view-all-products.html since they have ready-made packages.

Get a TKO 600. Costs more but you have the option of .64 or .82 OD. The .64 is great for highway cruising with a low rear gear while the .82 feels like a natural upshift from fourth, real good with a 3.55 gears. If money sin't an issue get a six speed. .82 fifth .64 sixth.

The C5TA-7505-B denotes this to be for a truck:
C=1960's/5=specifically 1965/T=Truck
