confirmation of '66 header / pan fill tube clearance?

'66 with AT, 289 (for now) and headers.

My stock trans is tired. Rather than rebuild it I thought I'd acquire, rebuild and slightly modify a post-'70 pan fill C4 as they're a little beefier. But I've also read that the pan fill C4 can create header clearance problems (at least for some Mustangs).

I figure someone here has made this swap.

Before I buy my a rebuilder, can anyone report clearance problems that will result and what you've found as a solution?

Thanks!
