Need REAREND HELP

I have a 1963 Fairlane 500, I Would like to know what rearend I can put in it to support a 347 stroker and C4 tranny. and also would it be better shortening it because I would like to put some good tire under it? Thank you anything helps!!! -Ralph

9 inch ford of course.

YOu can possibly find the specs on here. 57 inchs flange to flange I think. Then have a housing cut, order the axles to length and use the 9 inch thrid member that came with it.

8.8 are almost as strong.
