Well, here she is. A "July" 65 F250. It's a Custom Cab although the badges have been removed and the holes bondo'd over. I'm running the numbers on it and I believe it's a camper special. It has a 352 with a 4 spd and a Dana 60.

Looks like a solid truck. Good luck with the new project.

'Painted the hood tonight...
It's been years since I've had an actual paint gun in my hand. I'm tickled!
I was leary at first because Arnie says I have to use the low VOC paint. This stuff is Urethane and the Data sheet tells you to paint it in two medium coats. Holy cow it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks. But this stuff covers! 2.5 to 3 mils each coat and it is in no way transparent. I was shocked. And the shine is unreal and because it takes a while to flash hand slick, there is virtually no orange peel. Hell, I bet it would have turned out ok if I were drunk!

Did some research and found that the "Ford" emblems that were thrown in the bed are right for an F-250 without side trim. So, I made some inserts and tried to get the numbers as close to the original as I could. I think they turned out OK.
