Will the power steering system from a 67 mustang work in a 67 Fairlane?

They hydraulics are the same. The linkages are different except for the outter tierods. Steering boxes are the same as long as you have a short shaft box with a rag joint.

I believe the boxes are smaller on the mustang and the bolt pattern where it bolts to the frame is different. Similar in appearance though. _________________ Steve 64 S/C big brakes 8.8 rear 289 lentech AOD, strut front suspension

Steering boxes have different mounting geometry
Howdy. On a prior thread on using the Flaming River boxes for Mustangs on Fairlanes some one ran this to ground with them and the mounting bolts are in different positions. Oh, well! - Scott _________________ 66 Fairlane GT
