I like how it turned out as well. It's a Crites hood.

Thanks,

66 convertible

Hey I think your 66 convertible is a actually a 67. Unless someone did a tailight, headlight bezels and grille swap. I was looking through your cars on your site and noticed.

Darin -

It's a 66. Everything was swapped over prior to me purchasing it.

Thanks,

Scott

Glad you like it. Have been working on my other cars, but just sold 2 (71 GTX, 66 SS396 Chevelle), and my convt. is in paint jail, so now I've got more time to spend getting this one sorted out.

Have taken some weight out of the car - back seat, wiper motor, fiberglass front bumper and brackets, radio, etc. Still in the low 11's in the quarter, but 60' is pretty slow, and just realized that the carb wasn't opening up all the way. May try to head back to the track this weekend.

Scott,
Are you going to bring that Fairlane to VMP when us FAST and F/S are there, 10/16 and 10/17?

I'm going to be there for the FAST and F/S races, but my RAIV GTO F/S won't be ready (motor is done, but decided to take it off the frame). I would like to run my Fairlane, but will I be able to run it before or after the FAST of F/S races?

Thanks,

Scott
