F/S 1967 Fairlane 500 XL

There is a pretty good chance that I am going to sell my 67 fairlane. I have to many projects and no where to fix this thing up. It is a 1967 Fairlane 500 XL 63C car with a 289/Cruise-O-matic w/ a 3.10R&P open 8" rear. It is a really nice car and would be an easy resto project. The body is in really nice shape. Origonaly a Utah car then CA and now in WA. No rust/rot on the bottom side. I cut and replaced the small rot spots in both front fenders and rear skirt on the rear quarter. These three spots still need a fine touch to get them right. There is a couple small dents in the D-side door and on the roof. That is it as far as I can find. The interior is all origonal except the seats are covered with different material. Pans are fantastic. The car runs and drives but is really tired. The trim is in pretty good shape. There is also extra trim pieces to play with. I have been slowly gathering missing items. I think all left to find is the top rad bracket, shroud, headlight switch knob, rear curtusy light assy, both front arm rests and better instrument cluster bezel. That is all I am familiar with anyway. Oh, rims if you are picky. It is a beautiful car and in very fine shape for its age. The wiring harness is unmolested and in great shape. Still has it origonal owners manual. There is also a shop manual I bought, extra fenders, front valances and other items.

I would like to get what I have into it. $3,500

I am going to be out of town sometime this late week thru the first part of next week (late Sept - early Oct). If someone feels the need to have it right now that is cool, if not I will answer emails on a first come bases. I am not really interested in shipping. I do have a trailer and will haul it if the price is right.

These pics are before I started messing around with it. jmgford knows this car. It is pretty much the same except both front fenders and rear quarter have work started on them. The bumpers are off also. The car is being stored in a shop, but I can get more pics if needed.

Unlike big block Fairlanes, there is no top radiator bracket on 289 cars. It just bolts on the sides. The 289 cars w/o A/C did not come with shrouds either.
