'65 Sport Coupe Value

I have a '65 Sport Coupe that I am beginning to restore and I am curious as to its value. Its original, but in still in decent shape (been on blocks for about 15 years). My dad bought it about 27 years ago, so we don't really have any idea of the current value. It is black with white interior. Bucket seats, console, four speed, 289 4v and I believe it had factory dual exhaust. I've seen some '65's and even some Sport Coupes, but never one with the buckets and all of that. It seems to have pretty much everything you could get except the k-code motor.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Well, as you may know, the '65 doesn't usually bring the kind of $$$ that a comparable '64 or '66/'67 will, but still sounds like a neat car. Recommend you check out completed listings on e-bay (you have to be an e bay member to browse completed listings, I think), and find a car similar to yours that sold recenlty.

If you can't find a comparable '65, find a '66 and subtract a percentage (20%) and that should get you in the ballpark.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Scott. Its going to stay in the family, so I'm really not concerned with the value, we've just always wondered what it would be. I was a about a year old when my Dad bought the car, so I've been waiting a long time to get it fixed up.

I would say in that condition about 3500.00. Fixed 7500.00
