The only way I know is to order a Marti Report on it. They have the Ford production database from 1967 to 1993. Here is the link:

I'm not sure about the '64 Fairlane, but I know that for 1966, the front brake shoes and drums for the 390 were wider than for the 289. If you can find an old parts catalog, it should have separate l ...

This depends on the year. On my '66, the amber lights turn off when the headlights switch is pulled out all the way and the headlights turn on.

I'm not sure what year this changed. Perhaps in '67 ...

These parts from '66 through '71 Fairlane/Torinos are interchangeable. I have springs and lower shock mounts from a '71 Torino on my '66. I hope this makes your search a little easier.

When I transferred my rusted '66 GTA into a rust-free XL body many years ago, I installed '67 rear quarter letters as my originals had many broken pins. I simply pushed the new letters into a piece o ...

I know that the convertible side window glass is different from the 66-67 hardtops. The convertible glass is not as rounded at the top and will not reach the top where it meets the rear window.

Depending on your budget, you might consider a new reproduction gas tank. I have seen them in the $300 range or a little higher if it includes the sending unit.

This is a place that I found that I might consider for my '66. There are several dealers that can convert your original radio to 180W four speaker stereo. Look under "Stereo Conversions".

I believe that the law or mandate requiring emergency flashers went into effect in the 1965/1966 time frame. For the 1966 Fairlanes, the emergency flasher switch appears to be a late addition to the ...

Those photos bring back memories.

My first thought would be that you are missing a ground. However, I am not quite sure of what you are describing. The normal operation should be both sides on when you press the brakes with no turn ...

Using the shocks to adjust ride height is not the best idea. The purpose of air shocks is to maintain ride height when carrying a heavy load.

Here is a story about my '66 GTA that happened in the ...
