I had a similar problem on my 65,no brake or turn signal on the left side of the car,it turned out to be the turn signal switch inside the steering coulumn. Hope this helps

I have a 65 fairlane and the lights on the front are called parking lights/turn signals ,when you pull the switch all the way out for the headlights to come on,the parking lights go off....

I'm pretty much on my own,maybe I can use a floor jack to balance the door.
