Needed to replace the worn and saggy rear leaf springs on my 66 xl 500 convertible Lane (390 Sportshift) and wanted a bit of a raised rear end. Got these

Had some issues with overheating at longer stops, so I swapped the thermostat ... |

Just changed mine out (66 xl 500 conv) and it was a royal PITA. I had to remove the console, the fresh air vent and 4 nuts from the engine side of the firewall.

Hey I think your 66 convertible is a actually a 67. Unless someone did a tailight, headlight bezels and grille swap. I was looking through your cars on your site and noticed.

Lots going on with the Fairlane. Installed a new carb, coil, msd box, fan shroud, power steering hoses and polished the valve covers. They were painted when I got the car. Still need to do the same ... |

You get a 25% bump if you have the 289 and another 15% for a 4 speed.
