Rats...I'm hoping for one in a little better shape that I can recover later. Just for kicks, did the 4 doors have the same split-bench that the 2-doors had, or did they just have a solid bench?

Does anyone have experience with the Fatman Fabrications kits? I think I'd go with the stage III kit, I'm wondering how difficult to install, if there is more welding than just welding the crossmember ...

As far as the steering gear, I am going to install the rack and pinion sold by Dearborn Classics, so I'm not sure what I'm going to run into yet.

My car has the long shaft coming straight out of the gear box all the way to the steering wheel. The column just slips over it.
