As for adding power to a 289, cam and heads.
You can do a lot with a cam and set of heads. they dont have to be high dollar aluminum either.

| Bogging is normally the power valve shot, that happened when it back fired. the power valve is in the carb. |

| Measure the Bronco rearends from flange to flange, if they are close you can offset the wheels to work. |

| In 65 Fomoco changed to a arm with bearings and yes it will interchange. the correct one for 62/63 and early 64 is a lop sided u shape |
