I would say 157 tooth flywheel. That's what I have on my 64 289 4 speed. The 164 is for the 6 bolt 289, 302, & 351 engines.

On my 63 Falcon 4 speed I have a Hurst shifter with the factory shift handle. Looks original and shifts great. Planning on doing the same on my Fairlane when I find the right shifter.

The casting numbers for a 64 289 are C4OE-B according to the book how to build your small block ford. C4OE-F codes out as a 289.
